Anyone know what this saw is?

Post by Homestead » Oct 9th, '17, 18:13

I was given this saw that was going to go to the scrap pile. I would love to know what it is and try to restore it back to usable condition. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Tag attached to the crankcase is stamped T-1164 3147265

Looks like a Lancaster Six-55.

Thanks, I'll check it out. Looking at the recoil cover design, I'm thinking a Barker, but have no idea what one.

Not Barker. Definitely Lancaster.

Awesome, any idea what model? I'm having a heckuva time finding much out about it. I'd really like to get it back to usable condition if I can. Thanks for the input

Could it be a six-45?

No.
The 6-45 and 6-55 have the squared-off tank body.
It's in the series with the 350, 550's.
I'd say 350.
