It is all original. This was one of the first versions of the Super XL. I know there are Green and Red Versions of the XL Automatic, but I have never seen one of the Super variety. Maybe one of the Homelite guys can shed more light.

Not my saw... But a good addition to the Super XL library.
Here is what I've found out about these Super XL Limited Edition-Ol'Blue. I've only seen two, they both (according to serial) date to 1992. I'd be interested in hearing others, as to Mfg. dates. Also maybe even the Big Red-Limited Edition's

Runs with fuel dumped in the carb, needs a fuel line, new clutch cover, but has killer compression, was repainted at one time, you can see the lighter blue under the dark blue in a few spots.

Updated pic, new never used bar with a new stihl chain, carb kit and fuel line, Runs great now and has loads of power, 160psi. In the process of taking it apart, im not sure if i want to paint it or leave it bare metal with a clear coat i love that look.
